Cat's out of the bag!!

A friend of mine is "with child".

It was a secret... but I received an email over the weekend.

...So there was a Thanksgiving mishap this year at my house and my bro-in-law let the cat out of the bag in front of all of my visiting relatives. Needless to say that in a short while my whole family will know that I am pregnant so I have begun the phone calls. Of course you already knew. I called [your brother in law] this evening (his comment to [my husband] was "now your life is going to be over") and will continue to spread the news. So no need to be careful anymore (although I appreciated the discretion)...

This is very exciting for me. I know people who have kids and women that are pregnant but no one that is a close friend.

She told me how fun it would be if we were both pregnant. But I think we decided I'd have a kid when she's ready for her second baby.

I hope her baby likes me. I love little babies. They don't do much and you can talk to them about anything. All you really have to do is hold them and rock them (and feed them/change their diaper).
